Antique Walnut Brass Bound Stationery Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful antique Walnut stationery box of the highest quality with a lovely rich patina and a domed top with ornate brass strapping. The top opens up to reveal partitions for holding papers and letters.

It is in good original condition and although it has been used it has obviously been very well looked after over the years. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside, general signs of age and light use and a small chip on one back corner but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
