Description

An English fusee bracket mantel clock. Choice flame mahogany veneers with carved leaf work to the case. A cast brass bezel to the dial with decorative blued steel hands. Brass side sound fretwork. A good quality 8-day duration twin fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell with pull cord hour repeating.

Thomas Greening of Clerkenwell (London) is recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working from 1863-1875.
