Description

A charming small antique jewellery box dating to around 1860 and made from Walnut. The box has stunning parquetry inlaid straps running from the top of the lid and down the front, created from a variety of woods with some boxwood with green and red portions, a most unusual addition, and a colourful one too.

The interior has been beautifully re-lined with a hand marbled paper to create a new, clean and very usable finish, ready for use.

The box comes complete with a working taselled key. Excellent condition, professionally re-polished to showcase it's beauty. 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 3 5/8" tall.
