A glamorous pair of vintage pearl diamond flower earrings made in France in the mid-20th Century. The pair are adorned with two large, cultured button pearls in the centre which have a bright, silvery lustre and are surrounded by sparkling diamond petals.
The diamonds are a combination of transitional and single cuts and have superb SI 1/2 clarity – H/I colour. There are approx. 2ct of diamond in each earring – 4ct total.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
The earrings are modelled in 18ct white gold and feature large clips at the back, complete with the maker’s mark and a French gold export hallmark. They’re a stunning pair and can be converted into pierced if preferred.
We recommend you insure for £5,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
