A glamorous Art Deco sapphire diamond bow brooch modelled in platinum. The sparkling diamonds and deep-blue sapphires contrast and complement each other perfectly and are all pave-set securely in the gallery. There are approx. 5ct of sapphire and approx. 2.5ct of diamond in total across the front.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The brooches geometric design and milgrain edging is typical of the Deco style and is fitted with a secure pin and trombone clasp at the back. It’s in excellent condition and will add lots of sparkle and class to the lapel of a jacket.
We recommend you insure for £4,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
