19th Century Old Sheffield Plated Communion Jug - Poplar

A fabulous early 19th Century lidded communion jug made of Old Sheffield Plate. With an inlaid silver cartouche engraved for ''Wesleyan Chapel Poplar''. With visible internal and external seams and no makers mark. This jug dates to c1830 and is a superb substantial piece.
The condition is very good with no major dents, some slight copper bleed to raised edges. With a good fitting lid and beautiful clean lines.
