Description

Antique 19TH Century English Carved Oak Wainscot Chair and dating from around 1960-80. Constructed from solid oak it has a carved and shaped top rail with carved Lozenge frieze and a carved back panel of urn and flora. It has downswept armrests leading to scrollwork hand rests on a turned support. It has a solid plank seat with carved lunette frieze skirt. It is raised on turned and block legs.

MEASURES: 47” HIGH X 23” DEEP X 23.5” WIDE & SEAT HEIGHT 18.5”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
