A beautiful Art Deco cross pendant featuring a fine engraving in the centre of the Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus. Its hand carved from a transparent rock crystal that glows with a bright white aura that illuminates the image. The outer frame is also carved from a clear rock crystal and joins ornate platinum crossbars, edged with milgrain and rose-cut diamonds, with a trio of creamy pearls in the middle. A ring of calibre-set black onyx also halo the centrepiece and chase up the bale and contrast beautifully against the brighter gems. This is a rare and highly collectable find from the 1920s, with a wonderful work of art in the centre.
