The exquisitely fine quality makes this far too delicate for the floor, and it was never intended to be walked on. This little gem was made to show off the skill of the weaver and the wealthy patrons keen eye for beauty. The fact it has survived the decades in such pristine condition is also remarkable and testament to the generations who have preserved it carefully, waiting for a new, temporary custodian... Great display piece.
