Art Deco Silver Cigarette Box

1920 - 1940
Description

A fine example of a large Art Deco sterling silver Cigarette Box with a wood lined interior. It is an excellent quality piece set on a stepped base with an engine turned Deco design on the top and a red base.

It is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1939 and the maker Walker & Hall.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some minor signs of age and use, a couple of light surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental and the interior is clean and tidy. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
