This rare SET OF SIX ENGLISH BLUE AND WHITE TRANSFER PRINTED PLATES bear the mark of the short-lived pottery of ELKIN & NEWBON, Stafford Street, Longton, Staffordshire 1844-45.
They are from their BOTANICAL BEAUTIES series which is illustrated in Coysh and Henrywood’s Blue and White Printed Pottery 1780-1880) Vol 1 Page 49.
All of the Plates are in good condition. There are no chips or restoration.
