1940s Tudor 'Cushion Case' Wristwatch

1920 - 1940
Description

A c1940s Tudor cushion cased wristwatch. A light coloured dial with a silvered finish. Stylised Arabic numerals to the intervals, with very unusual copper tone dots to the rest. Surrounded by an outer minute track. A subsidiary seconds dial to 6 o'clock, surrounded by the script 'shock resisting'

A base metal case body, with sloped edges and lugs, of smaller proportions. A stainless steel snap on case back. Case reference 250.

The watch is powered by a 17 jewel Tudor mechanism. This watch is dated to circa 1940.

Case height 33mm

Case depth 9mm
