A beautiful example of a solid sterling silver hot water jug. It is a stylish shape with a swirling design across the body and lid and a turned finial. It has a delicate pouring spout and an ebonised wooden handle.
It is a good quality piece, weighing a total of 553g with the handle.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1908 and the makers Sibray Hall & Co.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well . There are some faint surface marks, a small dink and some minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
