German 8 day wall clock circa 1880, spring driven pendulum movement housed in a pine case with a decorative turned finial and side columns together with applied mouldings. White enamel and brass dial with black roman hour markers and black steel hands, the dial signed ''Fattorini & Sons, Bradford'' and ''Made in Baden''. The movement has a banjo style pendulum and there is an enamel pendulum regulation plate at the case bottom. Unusually the movement does not strike the hours or half hours, but plays an air on a musical box mechanism on the hour - see images below.
