Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Architectural Vienna regulator wall clocks originated in the nineteenth century, featuring wooden cases ornamented with classical elements such as pilasters, finials, and carved pediments. They house pendulum-driven movements designed to provide accurate timekeeping over a extended operating cycle.

These timepieces are constructed primarily from solid hardwoods such as walnut or oak, often finished with dark stains. The internal movement consists of brass plates and steel gears, accompanied by enamel or brass dials and glazed glass doors.

Authentic pieces frequently bear makers marks stamped onto the rear brass movement plate, such as the crossed-arrows trademark of the Hamburg American Clock Company (H.A.C.). Additional indicators include hand-carved case details, original brass pendulum bobs, and period-appropriate winding arbors.

Place the clock as a focal point against a light, neutral wall to create a high-contrast architectural accent. Integrating dark wood horology alongside contemporary minimalist furniture balances traditional craftsmanship with modern design elements.

Ensure the casing is mounted strictly level on the wall to allow the pendulum to swing freely without rubbing. The brass movement requires professional cleaning and lubrication every five to seven years, while the wooden case should be kept away from direct heat sources to prevent wood movement.
