The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 935 silver, so slightly purer than sterling silver.
Overall, the case is in good condition, just a little unevenness and marking to the back.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is faintly signed Lawrence & Mayo, London and it also has a name, difficult to read but possibly The Varsity. Lawrence & Mayo were in business in London from the mid-1880s, and expanded into India in the early part of the twentieth century. The dial is in lovely condition, a lot of reflection showing in the photos. Original hands although the infill has been removed at some stage.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
