Description

This fantastic slightly rosy Victorian chain looks for all the world like solid nine-carat gold. It tested positive for nine-carat gold with both acid and x-ray machines but is actually just so thickly cased in gold (likely rolled gold) it fooled both tests!

The chain has a small drop section in the middle, perfect for attaching a pendant, T-bar or locket.

The clip is stamped SB.

In excellent antique condition.

Length: Approximately 14 inches - this is a short "choker" length which won't fit everyone so be sure to check your measurements! The chain could easily be extended with another clip or the addition of extra links or a split ring at the end.

Width: Approximately 1cm.

Weight: A chunky 54.2g.
