Dragoncharger Antiques has dated these Tyrolean Folk Art Chairs to the 1850s.
Tradition simple pegged construction and sturdy for this type of chair. Antique walnut with deep patina niceley finished with smooth rounded edges. Possible 'marriage piece', superbly carved and name to one chair initialed C. C. delicately scripted.
Small variations in overall size between the two. The chair inscribed C. C. higher on the seat by approximately 3cm, and slightly smaller af 30cm in depth.
