Antique Metalware 17thc Latten Slip-top Single Spoon. English C1620-25

A fine example of an early 17thc latten slip-top single spoon.... (latten is made up of copper, tin, zinc and lead, giving it characteristics of both brass and bronze) ...it has the makers mark in the top of the bowl stamped ''RTM'' and has the traditional English ''fig'' shaped bowl beneath a tapering faceted stem....very typical shape for this period......in very good condition for its age and domestic use.
