This is a carved stone Rhino, well executed fine work.

18th century maybe earlier I'm not sure.

Extremely rare and unusual piece.

The stone is known as jade stone or heavyweight soapstone.

Museum quality item.

Weight about 150 kilos.

Fantastic decorators item. Or for period collection.
