Description

Impressive 18" diameter Japanese Chargers with decoration in the Imari palette of cobalt blue, rust orange/ red, greens & gold.

Hand painted floral decoration in reserved panels with central vases of flowers.

Late 19th Century, one charger with painted signature mark to reverse (see photo).

Both have beautiful scalloped edges, both in excellent condition with a few rub marks to the rims commensurate with age (see photos).

Metal plate hangers attached, ready for hanging.

Diameter: 46.5cm Depth approx. 5cm
