A Wonderful Set of 6 Parisian Silver Gilt Shot Glasses

A wonderful set of six French silver shot glasses. These superb examples have gently tapering engraved bodies, with applied leaf panels and richly gilded interiors. Created by Alphonse Debain at 79 Rue de Temple, Paris, a surviving set of six is a lovely find. Interesting and unusual collector's pieces, with a practical use.. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or losses. The base rims have a couple of minor bruises, commensurate with age and use. The gilding is intact.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Maker's mark and fineness mark.
