Description

A good quality French mantel clock in Belgian slate. A visible escapement to the enamel dial with 'moon' blued steel hands. Signed to the dial and mechanism by noted makers 'A Brocot & Delettrez, Paris'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a bell. Circa 1875.
