Needless to mention, the mug exudes opulence and splendour with its fully silver gilt (gold on top of solid silver) design which certainly captivates the attention of any onlookers in spite of its relatively modest stature.
The embossing is very impressive with high relief and the flower buds stand out from the stippled background. The applied handle is also a lovely touch with a continued naturalistic vine-like design.

As a result, one may occasionally come across examples of overstruck maker's marks or recognise the same style/hand on other maker's wares.
