This quality antique Albertina chain features three strands of chain modelled in silver. The bracelet links are round and rope twist links with an unusual twisted T-bar and two decorative tassel drops. The Albertina is fastened securely with a sturdy dog clip.
An Albertina chain is the name given to a watch chain worn by women. These chains, along with Albert chains, were popular during the Victorian era. The Albertina chains were generally finer than the Albert chains and often were multi-stranded, with charms and fobs.
