Handsome Antique Edwardian Chippendale Mahogany Bookcase on Cupboard C1900

A Most Handsome Antique Edwardian Mahogany Bookcase on Cupboard in the Chippendale Style and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a carved cornice top above a cross banded frieze over three astragal glazed doors with working key and set within cross banded frames. Internally and to one side there are three long removable shelves and to the other side there are four shelves. The base has a moulded edge to the top with a fretwork frieze above three moulded panelled doors with carved mouldings to each corner of the panel and all with brass escutcheons. Internally and to one side there is a single long shelf and to the other side there are three drawers with brass handles. It is raised on a plinth base on bracket feet and separates into four pieces for ease of transporting.

MEASURES: 82.5” HIGH TO TOP X 22” DEEP X 74” WIDE THE HEIGHT TO BASE IS 33” and internal depth to top is 12.5”
