The eight-day duration spring-barrel movement has a platform lever escapement with a plain balance and numbered 47 to the backplate and 59 to the top of the plates. The movement is near-identical in it''s design to an example signed Aubert & Klaftenberger, 157 Regent Street, London.
The silvered dial is finely engraved with rococo and floral decoration, and has black Roman numerals with blued-steel moon hands.
The case is engraved with further rococo and floral engraving and is surmounted by a scroll handle.
