This small handsome antique hip flask is glass and silver plated with its upper half wrapped in a lovely dark brown leather that contrasts the silver plate perfectly. The silver plated bottom doubles up as a removable drinking cup. The hinged top of the flask is of the bayonet locking type. Both the neck of the flask and the removable drinking cup are marked ‘J D & S’ for James Dickson & Sons – Sheffield, England.
