ANTIQUE #SA1090277

An Art Furniture Walnut And Leather Upholstered Chair, Attributed To Liberty's / William Birch C.1900

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Jeckyll & Co

Crisply turned frame in original condition throughout.

The chair may have been used in an artist''s studio, there are isolated spots of water-based paint around the arms, (which could be completely removed), and a small spot of paint on the seat.

Condition: Lovely warm consistent colour, small loss to the cresting rail to the right edge and a nick to the leather, both visible see mages. There are no breaks or repairs to frame, but it does creak a bit and there''s a little ''play,'' so although able to fullfill its original purpose without too much fuss, it is more of an occasional chair for all but the daintiest of sitters.

Reliable transport throughout the UK can be easily arranged at cost price, please let me know if you would like a quote of have any other questions.
