This high quality pair of cupboard feature an extremely well carved ornate top door panel above its book-matched wild Oak grain simple panel door, both framed with moulding. The doors are flanked by ornate columns incorporating acanthus leaf carvings to the top portion and faux panels to the lower. The cupboard doors also feature their lovely original dropper handles incorporating escutcheons to front their original working brass lever locks complete with original key. Unlocking the cupboards and opening the doors reveals a large storage compartment divided in the centre with removable shelves and a quality dovetail constructed drawer to the top which have their inset original brass military dropper handles. The cabinets stand on a simple moulded platforms going to 4 small bun feet.

These cabinets have their original idyllic beautiful lightly faded French polished finish with a lovely rich medium oak colour. We have carefully cleaned and waxed these cupboards, maintaining their original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents. However, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
