We love silver jewellery boxes here at Lancastrian, and this stunning rare German silver box was made in circa 1895 by Ludwig Neresheimer of Hanau, Germany.
The box is a curved rectangle and features what seems to be a scene of a family, animals, and trees in a farm field, created by the beautiful Repoussé metalwork technique. The box then opens up, showcasing a black velvet material base, allowing you to put your own pieces of history in.
It is a work of art from the Victorian era and would make a wonderful gift or a superb jewellery box for your collection.

This antique silver box is in very good condition, retaining its original charm with a light patina that gracefully reflects its age. The intricate designs are exquisitely preserved, showcasing the masterful craftsmanship of the era. The box closes securely, and the velvet interior has been well looked after, with just some light wear due to age. While the box has been well-maintained, there are some light scratches on the outside, but overall, it is an excellent example of the Victorian era.
