Antique Victorian Mahogany Doubke Wardrobe C1880

Antique Victorian Mahogany Double Wardrobe and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a carved cornice top with deep cross banded frieze above a full length arched mirrored door with moulded carved pediment this is flanked on either side by a full length arched panel with moulded and carved cartouche to the top of each. One of the panels is actually a door with brass handle and key escutcheon. Internally there is a central divider and to one side it is all hanging with brass rail. To the other side there is a rail and to the base is a satinwood fronted drawer with brass handle. It is raised on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

MEASURES: 82.5” HIGH X 22.5” DEEP X 57” WIDE & INTERNAL DEPTH 19.5”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
