An elegant George II carved gilt gesso mirror; the carved gesso frame with a gadrooned swan neck pediment centred by a cartouche and decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves on a punched ground, the shaped apron centred by a sunflower and flanked by later brass candle arms. Retaining the original bevelled mercury plate which is gently foxed.
