Continental Marquetry Cabinet

Description

Unusual 16th century German marquetry cabinet small cupboard, possibly Augsburg, which has been reconstructed in England in the latter part of the 19th century with additions and new parts. The door are all original and there a pieces of marquetry missing which reveals the design/sketch underneath. The inside has an attractive inlaid door and two drawers.
