Depicting the naked Diana, Roman Goddess of the Hunt in defiant pose.
French late 19th Century patinated bronze, bearing a signature A. Falguičre , raised on a yellow Sienna marble base.
Original medium brown patina.
Height 7,7/8'' or 200mm, weight 633 grams.
In very good sound condition, typically cast with separate arms now showing at the joints and with some re patination here.
Thumb on bowstring hand slightly bent
Original fixing nuts to base, founders plaque missing.
