George III Satinwood Table

18th century George III period West Indian satinwood demi lune card table.
The semi-circular top is crossbanded in tulipwood with boxwood and ebony stringing. The large satinwood banding is intricately inlaid with a fine floral pattern with penwork highlights.
The top opens back onto twin gate legs to reveal a green baize playing surface above a tulipwood concave thumbnail edge. The crossbanded frieze has been veneered with choice West Indian satinwood and tulipwood flutes sit above finely tapered satinwood and brown ebony stringing.
