A Howard & Son style club armchair

This chair has the same dimensions as the Howard Club chair, it has the fantastically comfortable long low seat which you sink into, lean back and feel very at home. Framed in beech, the back legs are swept, stamped with the order numbers, the front legs are turned walnut, all with Cope & Collinson stamped brass and ceramic castors in good order. Some early Howard chairs were not marked with the famous Howard & Son name, so this could be one of their chairs, but either way it is of the best quality and when reupholstered will be a fabulous chair - we can arrange upholstery for you, it is priced as you find it.
