Gramophone horn pendant light
Painted pressed steel fluted horn from a gramophone record player, the horn is a dark colour to the outside with a reddish paint to the inside, it has some signs of use, the odd dent and the paint is marked, when lit the inside glows a great colour. We have converted the horn attaching an antique brass lantern fitting to the top so it now hangs from a steel chain, wired with a bayonet cap bulb holder on a natural linen braided flex. For internal use, all light fittings should be installed by an electrician. Can be supplied with a brass ceiling hook if required.
English, early 20th century.
57cm H, 49cm Dia.
