Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A hash spoon is a large silver serving implement created during the 18th century, designed specifically with a long handle and deep bowl for serving hashes, ragouts, and substantial meat dishes.

Flatware from the George II period was forged from sterling silver, containing 92.5 percent pure silver alloyed with copper for structural durability, shaped by hand-hammering techniques.

Authentic Irish silver features specific assay office hallmarks stamped into the stem or bowl, including the crowned harp, Hibernia duty mark, makers mark, and a corresponding date letter.

Antique silver serving spoons can be displayed on a sideboard top inside a framed shadow box, arranged in a crystal bowl as decorative tableware, or set within a formal dining display.

Clean sterling silver with a soft microfibre cloth and a mild silver polish to remove tarnish, avoiding abrasive scrubbing pads and harsh chemicals that can strip the natural patina.
