Royal Worcester porcelain jug, painted with a Swallow, by Walter Powell, dated 1934. The small jug modelled as a conical banded wood barrel, and having a wood style handle.
Hand painted by William Powell, with a study of a Swallow in flight over grasses.
Printed green factory mark, date code for 1934, and titled ‘Swallow’ to the base.
Height – 6.3 cm, 2 1/2”.
Width (Spout to handle) – 7.3 cm, 2 7/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
