A beautiful antique Karadja rug, handwoven circa 1920 with a geometrical 3 medallion design on a terracotta field and deep indigo border. Fabulous secondary colours, especially the gold throughout the field and a highly decorative piece.
Size: 1.93m x 1.41m (6ft 4in x 4ft 8in)
This rug is in good condition with age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned. A couple of ‘bites’ to the corners (see photos), hence the price!
