We date this wonderful antique box to circa 1880

Features intricate inlay work on all surfaces including mother of pearl in the marquetry

Box opens out to reveal the glasses and the four tantalus bottles

There's even more marquetry inlay on the inside of the lid

What's amazing about this piece is the condition, particularly of all the painted glassware

Bought from a dealer on Marche Biron at Paris antiques markets
