Superb silver tea caddy in the elegant form of a Georgian knife box with slanting lid and shaped front. It is a very pleasing and solid caddy in smooth polished silver needeing no more adornment than the elegantly rounded and fluted detail to the front which is echoed in the lid. The lid hinges from the back with a nice movement and the hinge is firm enough to hold the lid suspended open, revealing a warm gilt finished interior.
A wonderful and unusual caddy for any silver collector. In super antique condition.
