An impressive French tortoishell mantel clock in the rococo style. A well proportioned case of good quality with gilt bronze mounts and glass side apertures. Individual enamel numeral dial cartouches with a decorative cast dial. An 8-day duration movement striking 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1885.
