Description

A really beautiful basket beautifully standing on four beautiful floral and foliate feet with a swing handle incorporation a heart shaped motif.

The basket itself with wonderful floral and foliate repousse work finished with hand chasing. The shaped rim is finished with a raised border, again a riot of floral and foliate design.

The quality is exceptional, particularly for a silverplated piece marked EP for Electro-Plated together with two figural marks, a Fleur-de-Lys and a Tree, I am unsure which maker this is. A heavy, solid example.

Excellent condition, measuring 11 1/4" x 8 1/2" x 9" tall to top of swing handle.
