Description

Rare silver-plated fish handled hors d'oeuvre set. Each handle is cast as a realistic fish. The set is comprised of a serving scoop and fork, six knives and six forks.

Registration number 590912 is for the year 1911 and was produced for Harrods marked H Ltd (Harrods stores limited London). They are also marked A1 which is for first class quality silver plate.

The set was almost certainly made exclusively for Harrods London. In over 40 years of dealing in antiques this is the first set I have ever come across.
