A Very Large 24 Light Florentine Beaded Gilt Chandelier

Description

A magnificent very large Italian chandelier with 24 lights in three tiers. The top is of a cut glass dish holding four icicle drops and a cut glass balustrade stem. The main body of the chandelier is a cage gilt frame which is highlighted throughout with tiny faceted beads, typical style of the Florentine area of Italy. The chandelier is of a cage form and issues 24 lights each holding a cut glass bobeche and four delicate French slab crystals. The chandelier is heavily dressed with swags of button drops, pear drops, coffin drops, icicle drops and varying sizes of pear drops. With a great presence and patina this fabulous chandelier would look good in a stairwell or any large room with a high ceiling. Restored, wired, Pat tested and ready to hang.

Height 140cm x with 130cm, this is the width of the chandelier only without the chain and ceiling rose which comes with the chandelier and can be adjusted to individual requirements.
