An outstanding George III four piece solid silver tea and coffee service by renowned silversmiths Peter, Ann & William Bateman, fully hallmarked for London 1802.
This incredibly rare and complete set is completely original, all with matching hallmarks and makers marks.
A fine and elegant set, exquisitely engraved with bright cut scrolling leaf and floral decoration, with substantial gadrooned detail to the rim and base of each piece. Each piece with a contemporary engraved crest depicting a falcon armed, killing a stork, this being the crest for the Scottish Graham family clan.
An excellent gauge and quality; all pieces in superb condition throughout, showing minimal wear, a truly cherished set, with no damage or restoration. Combined weight of approx 2,250 grams.
