Description

Superb Antique Burr Walnut Trumpet Workbox and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality walnut it has a beautifully burred walnut top with crossbanded edge. The top lifts to reveal a very nicely restored interior of Ash comprising of various sections and a lidded well to the centre for wools , cottons etc. It has a trumpet hexagonal base leading to a turned single pedestal and shaped tripod legs on a pad foot.

MEASURES: 29.5” HIGH X 18” x 18”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
