Description

This is a pair of George III Regency hallmarked sterling silver fiddle pattern sugar tongs. They were assayed in London in 1815 and made by Thomas Purver.

The sugar tongs have a repaired split to the centre of the handle. The bowls of the tongs are a little misshapen. Otherwise they have general wear commensurate to their age.

They weigh 42g / 1.36 oz t
